NEW SOLAR PLANT IN AGNO, SWITZERLAND
The Ferrari Group’s solar electricity production increases: the new Agno, Switzerland plant was inaugurated on 01/06/2022 with 550 modules installed, totalling 900 square meters.
The photovoltaic system positioned on the roof of the local Ferrari building will take advantage of Ticino’s mediterranean climate, enjoying a yearly average of 2235 sun hours.
This new solar plant, strongly supported by the Group, will allow the Agno branch to face the current and future energy-related critical issues with a strong supporting tool.
Over the first two weeks the plant has produced 17 MW, saved 6700 kg of CO2, and saved 200 trees. The plant’s performance can be monitored here.
The Ferrari Group is deeply committed to shifting towards renewable energy sources, and supports efforts to reduce CO2 production throughout the Network, gladly backing projects dedicated to the future of our planet.
