2023 Sustainability Report

The Ferrari Group is proud to announce the publication of its annual Sustainability Report for the year 2023.

Since 2019, we have been dedicated to reporting our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts. As part of our commitment to fostering trust through transparent communication, we are pleased to announce a significant milestone in our sustainability reporting journey: this year, we have taken a substantial step forward by enlisting Deloitte as an external auditor to thoroughly examine our sustainability practices and performance. Our Sustainability Report 2023 has undergone a comprehensive audit by Deloitte, providing assurance that our report aligns with the Global Reporting Initiative Standards, the global best practice for public reporting on economic, environmental, and social impacts.

Highlights from our ESG efforts in 2023 are included in the report’s audited key figures, which include:

Our Environmental Pillar – Managing Natural Resources

  • Emitted 23,484 TonCo2eq for Scope 1 and Scope 2 (calculated using a Market-Based methodology);
  • Energy consumption is primarily located in Europe (44%), followed by America (29%); Asia (20%), and the Middle East and Africa (7%);
  • 16% of waste diverted from disposal.

Our People – Passion-Driven Value Creators

  • 16% growth of personnel compared to 2022, with the highest growth rate in the US (+49%), followed by the Middle East and Africa (+24%), Europe (+15%), and Asia (+8%);
  • 27% of our workforce are women, with the highest percentage in the white-collar professional category (44% of all white-collar employees are women; 66% of the women employed are white collar workers);
  • Achieved a 2.0 rate of low-consequence injuries and a 0.0 rate of fatalities and high-consequence injuries.

Our Governance – A spotlight on our cybersecurity program

We have continued to mature and expand our cybersecurity program to keep pace with the evolving threat landscape. Key initiatives include:

  • Expanding the Cybersecurity Team – to support our growing business, we reinforced our Information Security team under the leadership of our CISO, Andrea Succi, enhancing our defensive capabilities;
  • Achieving ISO 27001:2022 Certification;
  • Improving Threat Detection and Response;
  • Integrating Threat Intelligence;
  • Strengthening Data Resilience;
  • Upholding Data Privacy Compliance;
  • Maturing Incident and Risk Management Processes;
  • Launching a Multi-Year Cybersecurity Program.
