Junior Logistics Planner

As a Junior Logistics Planner, you will play an important role in coordinating our daily operations. You will be a key link between our drivers, customers, internal departments and logistics partners, helping to ensure that transports are planned efficiently, documentation is accurate and deliveries are completed on time. This is a hands-on role where you will learn about transport planning, logistics systems and customer service while working in an international and fast-paced environment.

What will you do?

Daily Planning & Transport

• Scheduling routes: Assigning trips to drivers.
• Booking shipments: Registering transport orders with logistics service providers (Cargonaut, Smartlox, Nallian a.o.).
• Checking capacity: Verifying the availability of vehicles and drivers.

Administration & Systems

• Data entry: Processing orders and trips in ERP or TMS systems.
• Verifying documents: Checking AWBs, Security Declarations (EDD) and customs paperwork.
• Proof of delivery: Coordinate order closures and POD management for Domestic and Import departments.

Communication & Customer Service

• Dispatching drivers: Providing instructions to drivers regarding loading times and locations.
• Updating customers: Informing clients (internal and external) about the status of their deliveries.
• Problem-solving: Managing delays, traffic congestion, or transport damages
• Events: Coordinate all events, including direct communication with stakeholders 

We are looking for a motivated and organized colleague who enjoys working in a dynamic logistics environment. You have:

• MBO level of education and working/thinking ability, preferably in logistics, transport or a related field.
• A genuine interest in logistics and transport planning.
• Good organizational and administrative skills.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with drivers, customers and colleagues.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to remain calm and focused when priorities change or unexpected situations arise.
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• A good command of Dutch and English.
• Previous experience in logistics or transport is a plus, but not essential. We are happy to develop the right person.

Salary

Your salary for this position will range from €2,750 to €2,950 gross per month, depending on your relevant professional experience, qualifications, and skills. The final salary will be determined based on your individual experience and qualifications
