Warehouse Supervisor / Team Lead

  • Operational Support: Support day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring receiving, handling, storing, picking and packing activities meet the precision and care that luxury goods demand.
  • Inventory & Quality Control: Carry out cycle counts, audits and WMS reconciliation to keep inventory accurate; apply quality checks to prevent damage, shrinkage and order errors.
  • Security & Compliance: Apply and reinforce security procedures for high-value items, and ensure day-to-day compliance with safety and security requirements.
  • Team Supervision & Coaching: Supervise, coach and motivate a small warehouse team on shift; assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and support onboarding of new starters.
  • Client & Logistics Coordination: Act as first point of contact for clients, suppliers and transport partners on day-to-day shipment queries; coordinate inbound/outbound flows and escalate complex issues to management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to improve workflows and layout, and help track operational KPIs and best practice.
  • Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate operational and inventory records, and prepare regular performance summaries.
  • Equipment Checks: Carry out routine inspection and basic checks on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and IT systems, escalating issues as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Experience: 5-8 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including over 3 years in a supervisory, team lead or shift coordinator capacity, ideally within luxury goods, jewellery or high-value logistics.
  • Languages: Fluent French and English (written and spoken), required to support our international client base.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and strong computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Skills: Sharp attention to detail, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership: A natural ability to guide, motivate and support a small team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with staff, clients and external partners at all levels.
  • Compliance: Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and warehousing/handling legislation.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable performing physical tasks in an active, fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Certification: A forklift operator certification is an advantage (training can be provided).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Exposure to security systems and protocols for high-value inventory.
